Sample cover letters
The cover letters usually accompany
your resume and are the key for an interview call. The cover letters should be
very expertly written. The person’s purpose behind applying for the job should
be clearly stated. The employer would have to look at many resumes and cover
letter and hence yours should stand out for getting selected. Given below is a

last week of December and am currently exploring job opportunities. As my resume
reveals, I have both post graduate and under graduate degrees in Computer
Science. I have mare than 3 years of experience in software development using C,
C++ and Java in real time systems as well as PC based. I am highly motivated by
high performance work environment. I have worked on and learned from many
interesting and complex commercial projects. I am currently leading a software
team on a project which has a budget approximating three million dollars. After
the completion of the project in December I would be excited in working with an
organization that is a leader in programming.
I have enclosed my resume for your perusal. I would
like to meet and share my experience and qualifications and the ways in which I
can contribute to the organization and the team. Thank you for your

This template can be used for most of the cover
letters. The body of the letter should contain the qualifications and experience
in detail. The letter should be very positive and a confident one. It should be
very specifically and clearly written.
