Job Letters for applications, acceptance and rejections

An application for a job should have a covering
letter and your resume attached to it. The covering letter should describe most
of your capabilities in brief so that the reader has an idea of what your past
job profile is like or at least what kind of a profile you are searching for.
This will give them an insight into your job requirement immediately and help
them to place you in a suitable position mentally. Later they can see your
qualifications in your curriculum vitae and get a better idea of the rank of
your position.
Job letters can be for either accepting a job or
rejecting it. Your letter even while rejecting a job should be polite and make
them feel that though you would have loved to work for them you have a better
offer or a valid reason for thinking of another option that has come up. If you
are accepting a job you should thank the organization for giving you the
opportunity to serve them and how you look forward to working for
them.
Your letters for jobs should be extra polite and
positive in your approach. Do not sound diffident and keep all opportunities
which you have been give a positive note. Even if you do not take up a certain
job, you may want to join them at a later date if there is a good opportunity.
So maintain a good relation ship with them and refuse an offer with a polite
hint of hoping to be able to serve them sometime later if the opportunity
arises.
